SRV was everything we needed after 26.2 miles. Spectacular food, flawless service, and carbs that felt practically medicinal.

Fine, attentive service and inventive cuisine that runs the gamut from small bites (cod and deep-fried mozz) to heaping pasta portions (mine came with anchovies, because I'm weird). The carrot lemon curd pistachio creme cake is a winner. The Chianti was a bright, balanced and fruity delight.
With only one day and a half in Boston, so glad I managed to squeeze a booking at SRV. I personally love the sharing plates culture and each plate was outstanding and delicious with a modern twist. The tuna and the crab pasta were my favourite. I definitely recommend if you are in for pasta with a fun modern delicious twist
We came here right after getting married, and it was the perfect choice! The food was excellent—every dish was full of flavor and beautifully prepared. The service was outstanding, some of the best we’ve ever experienced. We’ll definitely be back!

I had dinner at SRV on Columbus Avenue in the South End in September 2025 and was blown away by both the quality and the value. The name stands for Serene Republic of Venice — but for me, it had just been a place I’d walked by without really noticing. Now it’s firmly in my notebook as a restaurant to where I absolutely have to return.
Edit as of Dec 2025: SRV no longer offers a vegan tasting menu. We came at a not too busy time, and the chef made accommodations for us, but it sounds like this was an exception and we were told the vegan tasting menus were discontinued. The waiter was knowledgeable about which à la carte items could be prepared vegan and the food was still very delicious. Would love for the vegan tasting menu to come back reliably, it was such a treat!
My partner and I came for our anniversary and are both vegetarian. We did the vegetarian arsenale menu which was fantastic. What was very impressive was how many dishes on their menu they were able to accommodate for vegetarians and each dish was very unique and flavorful. The drinks were each unique and delicious. We tried the stuffed peppers, the zucchini, the pepitas, the mushroom rigatoni. All were phenomenal! One of the best restaurants in Boston
The food was wonderful. I loved the meatballs and stuffed peppers to start. We got a few of them. We loved that each of the dishes hit on multiple different flavors and textures - creamy, crunchy, toothsome, salty, acid, etc. The deserts were also welcome, we had the gelato. Loved that the appetizers and deserts were not overly priced - very welcoming to enjoy.
